Job Summary:

The Remodeling Carpenter will build, erect, install, and repair forms and structures, as needed, to assist with various types of construction projects.

Responsibilities:
Day-to-day duties and responsibilities will change on a daily basis. The core tasks associated with the job are:

• Ensure that all work is being performed at the highest level of quality.
• Complete all work related to carpentry and other work done by the company.
• Install structures, such as windows and moldings.
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Keep Management informed throughout the day about the progress of the project.
• Upon arrival to the job site, confirm measurement and materials; must be able to correct any job site issues, such as incorrect measurements, material shortages.
• Own and maintain general hand tools required for Remodeling Carpenters.
• Maintain a clean job site.

Requirements:

• 1+ years’ experience in finish carpentry with an additional 1+ years’ experience in rough carpentry.

The Storm Residential Sales Associate will systematically initiate direct contact with homeowners creating a positive relationship and generating jobs for the company. This position will also meet with customers and provide a full home inspection including roofing, siding, metal, and all exterior materials, along with documentation regarding attic space, with detailed photos. Periodically, depending on the claim type, will need to work with the remodeling department and get them what they need to help assist with a claim.

Responsibilities:

• Systematic initiation of direct contact with homeowners creating a positive relationship and generating jobs for the company.
• Meet with customers and provide a full home inspection including roofing (walking on a roof), siding, metal, and all exterior materials along with documentation regarding attic space, with detailed photos.
• Update running notes on a regular basis as set by the Department Manager.
• Demonstrates the ability to anticipate customers’ needs and make appropriate recommendations.
• Ensure that company vehicle and or personal vehicle contains all the necessary items needed to complete an inspection (tape measure, chalk, cougar paws, laptop and printer).
• Provide the customer with the proper information and documentation to open a claim and schedule a field adjuster appointment. If there is no damage from a weather event, discuss the life left of the roof or let them know the condition and make any recommended on how to prolong the life of the roof and any other maintenance needed on the property. Also, in the event that there is no damage, point out what may be wrong with gutters, fascia, etc., things to keep everything functioning properly, and address any concerns that the customer might have about the construction of their home.
• Meet with field adjusters to review and discuss storm damage.
• Complete required change orders for customer approval.
• Submission of supplementals to the insurance carrier.
• Perform emergency repair services as needed.
• Provide feedback of results to the manager in a timely fashion.
• Team and individual canvassing is mandatory when scheduled by your supervisor.
• Must be flexible to support the department when the business dictates.

Requirements:

• HAAG certification for residential roofs is preferred.
• Use of E-360 for roof measurements.
• Knowledge of township building requirements and permit fees.
• Ability to read and understand insurance reports/Scopes in both symbility and Xactimate.
• Proficient in taking measurements and math skills.
• Have and maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license (for operation of a company vehicle).
• Demonstrates accurate and appropriate use and knowledge of Dataforma, Xactimate, Microsoft Office, and iOS equipment.
• Provide daily updates regarding scheduling using outlook calendar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be dependable and ensure of prompt arrival for all customer appointments.
• Responsible for prompt and courteous follow up to all customer communications.

Maintains commercial and light-duty vehicles by completing inspections and preventive maintenance. Correct vehicle deficiencies using best practices. Will perform PA State Inspections on trucks, commercial and light-duty vehicles.

Job Duties:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately and timely
• Performs repair and preventative maintenance operations on trucks, automobiles, and company-owned equipment
• Preventive maintenance should include engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters
• Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems
• Complies with state vehicle requirements by performing state-required inspection
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Follow all safety practices
• Must be capable of setting priorities and working under pressure
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately and timely

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrate current knowledge of standard automotive repair methods, and the terminology and tools of the trade
• Ability to work well with customers and co-workers
• Have and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license
• Have and maintain a PA Certified Inspection Mechanics License and Emissions License
• Maintains vehicles and equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Complete required daily paperwork, such as Dataforma field tickets.
