Making the American Legion Patriotic This Memorial Day
Wernersville, PA — 05/26/2016 — Bachman’s Roofing, Building and Remodeling, Inc. has been installing roofs in the Reading area for over 40 years. Recently, the American Legion in Hamburg, PA needed a roof replacement. While discussing the project, the customer said they really wanted a customized roof with red, white, and blue shingles.
Bachman’s, constantly reaching above and beyond for clients, tries to accommodate all unique requests. Barry Lubas, Bachman’s Senior Sales Associate, remembered that several years ago, the Bachman’s team was attempting to add the American flag to their own facility’s roof. The project was already created in their system, so a plan was laid out to accommodate the Legion’s request.
“We get unique requests all of the time, but having the ability to really get an American flag on the roof was a fun challenge,” said Lubas. Cody Bachman, the production manager on site during installation, followed the plans Lubas created in order for it to come together.
The process needed to accomplish this job was more about execution strategy than anything else. The materials, already available through Bachman’s trusted partners, and a little extra effort from the production team, always go a long way for Bachman customers.
“I cannot believe they were able to pull this off. It is truly one of a kind and we’re proud that our roof has our nation’s flag on it!” said Jeff Marsh, the customer in charge of the project for the American Legion. Additionally, the American Legion was so impressed, that they are installing new lights on the roof to illuminate the flag for everyone at night.
